Around 1000 members of the Mulliez Family Association met on Friday and Saturday in Marcq-en-Barœul. Their president, Barthélemy Guislain, presented a new vision defining them as trusted shareholders.
The annual meeting of the Mulliez Family Association took place discreetly in Marcq-en-Barœul, in the north of France. Participants endorsed a ten-year vision for the group’s 130 companies, including Auchan, Leroy Merlin, Boulanger, Kiabi and Decathlon.
Barthélemy Guislain, president of the management board, told Le Figaro: « Nous allons nous définir comme des actionnaires de confiance moteurs pour l’avenir ». This rare public statement comes as the family holding seeks to strengthen its cohesion.
The family shareholders opted to maintain their traditional low profile while publicly affirming their collective commitment for the years ahead.
