Orlando Pirates secured the 2025/26 Betway Premiership title with a 2-0 victory over Orbit College on Saturday.
Orlando Pirates are the 2025/26 Betway Premiership champions after beating Orbit College 2-0 at Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga. The Buccaneers finished the season with 69 points, two ahead of defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns. This marks their first league title in 14 years.
The win came via two own goals. Keeper Sabelo Nkomo scored for the visitors just before half-time. Defender Ndumiso Ngiba added another immediately after the restart. Pirates had more possession but created few clear chances before the late breakthroughs.
Orbit College finished bottom and suffered automatic relegation after one season in the top flight. The result gave Orlando Pirates their third treble in PSL history.
