Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed visited the Kuriftu Resort and Spa in Arba Minch. He said the project shows the private sector's contribution.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed visited the Kuriftu Resort and Spa in Arba Minch city on June 26, 2018. The project spans 52 thousand square meters and includes 53 luxury villas. It is expected to create more than 300 permanent jobs for citizens.

In a social media post, he said Arba Minch continues to advance as a source of development. Such investments clearly demonstrate the private sector's high contribution following the government's infrastructure building.

He called on domestic and foreign investors to engage widely in tourism projects in Ethiopia to elevate the country's tourism potential.
