Red Bull has secured Tom Hart to remain with the team and will sign Gwen Lagrue from Mercedes. The moves address upcoming departures of Gianpiero Lambiase and Helmut Marko.
Tom Hart will take over as Red Bull's race engineer at the start of 2027. He had been set to join Williams but was convinced to stay and step up internally after Gianpiero Lambiase's planned move to McLaren in 2028.
Gwen Lagrue will head Red Bull's junior programme. The Frenchman, who signed George Russell and Kimi Antonelli during his decade at Mercedes, joins as part of the succession plan for Helmut Marko, who stepped down at the end of last year.
Team principal Laurent Mekies said promoting from within remains plan A, with external hires used when needed. He confirmed Red Bull has the internal talent to maintain competitiveness.
The announcements emerged during the Belgian Grand Prix weekend at Spa. They form part of efforts to provide stability for Max Verstappen amid several recent departures.
