Richard Nylin has taken on a new role in Swedish hockey after leaving HV71. He has been elected vice chairman of Boro/Vetlanda, which will compete in Hockeyettan next season.
Richard Nylin has left his position as club director at HV71. He was recruited by the club in 2023 as commercial director and later took on the club director role.
Earlier this year HV71 announced that Nylin would depart for a new job in business in Vetlanda. He has been working for several months as marketing manager and strategic developer at Holsby Metall AB.
Nylin now returns to Boro/Vetlanda as vice chairman. The club earned promotion from division 2 and will play in Hockeyettan next season.
“I have always had a big heart for Boro,” Nylin told Vetlanda-Posten. “I remember sitting and listening to the radio when they were in Scandinavium and then when they went up to Elitserien.”
