Tyriq Withers is set to star opposite Isabel May in the romantic comedy Love Love for Amazon MGM Studios. Joey Power will write and direct the film, which begins production this fall in New York.
Withers will also serve as an executive producer on the project. Power and Daniel Sweren-Becker wrote the script, which centers on a struggling tennis phenom who falls for a charismatic local ball boy at the US Open.
Their romance may provide the spark she needs to reach the finals. Producers include Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum of RK Films along with Ari Lubet and Jonathan Berry of 3 Arts Entertainment.
Isabel May, Power and Alyssa Altman will also executive produce. Withers is represented by CAA.
