Woman arrested for assaulting spa attendants in niterói with eyebrow pencil

A 26-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday night after assaulting the manager and a staff member at a Buddha Spa unit in Icaraí, Niterói. The incident occurred after a requested procedure was denied by the establishment.

The fight began on Miguel de Frias street when staff identified that the service was not authorized. The client, who received the procedure as a gift from her boyfriend, reacted with aggression and used an eyebrow pencil to puncture one attendant's face, causing bleeding.

The victims were rescued by the Fire Department and taken to Hospital Estadual Azevedo Lima, where they were discharged the same day. The suspect was contained with the help of a civil police officer and taken to the 77th Police Station (Icaraí), where the case was registered as bodily injury.

The spa unit remained closed on Wednesday due to internal issues and is expected to resume services on Thursday. The Civil Police confirmed that one victim was referred to the Legal Medical Institute for a body examination.
