AEW has announced two high-profile matches for its Forbidden Door pay-per-view event with NJPW on June 28.
The event will air live on HBO Max starting at 8 p.m. Eastern. In the Owen Cup Men's Final, Will Ospreay will face Swerve Strickland, with the winner earning a spot in the main event of AEW All In London for the AEW World Championship.
Kenny Omega is scheduled to meet Zack Sabre Jr. for the first time on American soil. The two last faced each other during the 2018 G1 Climax.
Ospreay and Strickland will appear face-to-face on the June 17 episode of Dynamite. AEW promoted the segment as a meeting between a wrestler chasing a personal dream and another seeking greater power.
