Biminister Claudio Alvarado criticized the Socialist Party for pamphlets that alter President José Antonio Kast's image. Socialist parliamentarians distanced themselves from the publication.
Interior and SEGEGOB Biminister Claudio Alvarado stated that the use of the presidential image in PS pamphlets to denigrate the President distances itself from basic rules of respect. Alvarado affirmed that the Socialist Party's trajectory does not deserve to be blurred in light propaganda publications and caricatures. He added that Chile expects contributions from the PS and not denigrations. PS deputies' caucus leader Raúl Leiva said he does not share the pamphlet that ridicules the President's figure. Deputy Nelson Venegas indicated that this type of politics is not his style.
