He shared an AI-generated image depicting Indian states as blending colors, captioning it: "On Holi, colours don’t compete. They come together." He described the festival as a reminder of "many colours, one vibrant canvas."
In a follow-up post, Mahindra shared two aerial videos from Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh, showing railway lines flanked by vibrant red sheets of chillies laid out to dry. He noted that these create "an amazingly beautiful tapestry when seen from above." Guntur accounts for 15% of India's chilli production, he added.
Mahindra proposed transforming the seasonal winter harvest into a tourism opportunity, aligning with Holi's timing. Suggestions included balloon rides for aerial views, performances of local music and dance, and creating a festival. He acknowledged concerns about disruptive tourists but emphasized potential income supplements for farmers and communities.
