The Bulls will take on Leinster as underdogs in the United Rugby Championship final at Croke Park on Friday.
The Bulls enter their fourth URC final in five years after three previous defeats. They have won 11 of their last 12 league games and secured their place with a comeback victory over Glasgow.
Coach Johan Ackermann replaced Jake White following the 2025 final loss to Leinster. Ackermann has focused on team culture and credited assistant Neil de Bruin for improved results.
Lock Ruan Nortjé will play his final match for the Bulls before moving to Japan. He said a trophy would be a fitting end to his time at the club.
Leinster coach Leo Cullen noted the experience of Bulls players Willie le Roux and Handré Pollard. Bok coach Rassie Erasmus praised the Stormers’ approach in their semi-final loss to Leinster as a potential blueprint.
