Banco de Bogotá's board of directors announced on Thursday that it accepted the resignation of César Prado Villegas as president after more than two years in the role. Prado cited personal reasons, with his duties ending on March 20. Jorge Castaño Gutiérrez, currently vice president of corporate financial assets and efficiencies at Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores, has been appointed interim president while a permanent replacement is swiftly selected. Castaño will return to his holding company duties once a successor is named.
