CNET readers crown GFiber top ISP in satisfaction poll

CNET readers have selected GFiber as the leading internet service provider overall in the outlet's People's Picks awards. The fiber provider earned the highest marks for reliability, speed and customer support.

GFiber received an overall satisfaction score of 4.72 out of 5 from readers. It also led in plan speed with 4.82 and reliability with 4.70.

T-Mobile Home Internet won the 5G category with a satisfaction rating of 4.20. Readers noted few connection drops and stable speeds during peak hours.

Starlink earned the top satellite ranking with 4.47 overall. Broadband writer Joe Supan highlighted major technical gains that improved its reliability to 4.59.

Regional winners included Sonic in the West, EPB in the South, T-Mobile 5G in the Northeast and Quantum Fiber in the Midwest. Each outperformed national competitors in local reader feedback on price, service and performance.
