Davivienda to enable real-time business transfers to other banks

Davivienda announced it will enable immediate business transfers to Bancolombia, Banco de Occidente, Bbva and AV Villas.

The Colombian bank is expanding its offerings for more than 235,000 companies with real-time payments and collections. The service will run 24 hours a day via Portal Empresarial, Host to Host and APIs.

The transfers will allow payroll, third-party and supplier payments without ACH cycles. Mass payments via Bre-B keys will also be added for immediate receipt.

Davivienda estimates processing more than 10 million interbank transactions monthly. Companies will access the features at no extra cost.

“During decades we have been building a financial infrastructure that responds to the speed at which the country moves today,” said Pedro Uribe, executive corporate vice president.
