Global streamer Disney+ announced it will exclusively broadcast a Korean League of Legends (LoL) competition to 11 Asia-Pacific regions, including South Korea, Japan and Australia. The KeSPA Cup 2025 kicks off Saturday and runs through Dec. 14, with livestreams in Korean and English. The annual tournament, organized by the Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA), features 10 Korean teams and four overseas teams from Vietnam, Japan and North America.

Disney+ announced on Thursday that it will exclusively broadcast the KeSPA Cup 2025, an annual Korean League of Legends (LoL) tournament organized by the Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA). The event starts Saturday and continues through Dec. 14, with livestreams available in Korean and English, alongside video-on-demand (VOD) services.

The competition includes 10 Korean teams and four international squads from Vietnam, Japan and North America. Group and breakout stages will be held online, while the knockout phase takes place at Sangam SOOP Colosseum in western Seoul.

This broadcast stems from a September contract between Walt Disney Company Korea and KeSPA, which grants Disney+ exclusive rights to the KeSPA Cup 2025 and content related to the e-sports national team for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, scheduled for September next year in Japan.

Disney+ also plans to livestream warmup games for the national squad ahead of the Asian Games. The initiative aims to expand e-sports visibility across the Asia-Pacific region.
