Ellevio commissions new energy storage in Mora

Ellevio has commissioned a new energy storage facility at Sandängarna in Mora. The 200 million kronor investment is intended to stabilize the electricity system and increase crisis preparedness.

The facility consists of large battery modules. It can store electricity equivalent to the needs of a medium-sized city. The investment is one of Ellevio's largest efforts to date. It is reported by moratidning.se. Eric Salomonsson wrote about the project for Dala-Demokraten.
