Dr. Mitiku Ayele, State Minister for Natural Resources Development in the Ministry of Agriculture, stated that Ethiopia is generating numerous jobs to advance its green economy. She emphasized the country's focus on natural resources development, highlighting practices such as organic farming and those that restore soil fertility. According to her, this work serves as a model for other nations.

Orlando Sosa, the FAO Representative in Ethiopia, commended the country's efforts in forest development and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. The workshop centers on ways to boost agricultural productivity through viable solutions while preserving forests.
