In Addis Ababa, on Megabit 11, 2018 EC (Fana BC), Ethiopia's National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) stated that voter registration for the upcoming general election, conducted manually and digitally, runs from Yekatit 28 to Megabit 28, 2018 EC. As of Megabit 10, the total number of registered voters stands at 18,556,337 for the 7th general election. This includes 10,133,639 males and 8,422,698 females. The board has also trained 187,128 election officials, selected after vetting and endorsement by political parties. This update highlights the scale of voter participation and preparations ahead of the polls.
