Fana Lamrot chapter 22 competition begins soon

Over 700 pre-qualified singers will compete in Fana Lamrot chapter 22, with 16 selected based on performances. The competition starts in Addis Ababa on Megabit 11, 2018 EC. It features weekly shows over 13 weeks.

In Addis Ababa, Fana Lamrot chapter 22 draws from over 700 pre-qualified singers, selecting 16 competitors based on their performances. In the first week, nine contestants will perform with the Zayen Band across two rounds. The competition spans 13 weeks, where participants, judges, and finalists vote on song selections through SMS. A total prize of 1 million Birr awaits the top four finalists. This marks the sixth competition exclusively for past Fana Lamrot winners. It begins on Megabit 12, 2018 EC, from 6:00 AM, airing on Fana Television, Fana+, Fana Facebook, YouTube, Telegram channels, and www.fanamc.com. Since its launch in 2011 EC, Fana Lamrot has served as a talent platform supporting youth employment development.
