The 680-room property in Madrid's Valdebebas district becomes one of Spain's largest hotels by room count. It caters to leisure and business travelers with modern amenities near key attractions.

Hotel101 Global Holdings Corp., a subsidiary of Philippine-listed DoubleDragon Corporation, officially opened Hotel101-Madrid on March 10, 2026. This 680-room hotel is positioned as the first Filipino homegrown hotel brand to expand overseas, located in the Valdebebas district of Madrid. The site is strategically near Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas International Airport, the Ciudad Real Madrid training complex for Real Madrid CF, the planned Formula 1 Madrid Grand Prix circuit, and IFEMA Madrid convention center.

The hotel features standardized "HappyRoom" units equipped with kitchenettes, designed for affordable, high-quality stays. Amenities include swimming pools, function rooms, a business center, a gym, a convenience store, laundry facilities, and over 200 parking spaces. The all-day dining restaurant, HBNB Kitchen, is operated by Valencia-based Grupo La Sucursal, offering meals to guests and visitors.

Bookings are now available through the Hotel101 App and various online platforms. DoubleDragon described the launch as a "historic milestone," emphasizing its role in capturing foreign currency revenue. Hotel101 Global, listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange under ticker HBNB, aims to expand its condotel model globally, targeting 1 million rooms across 100 countries through joint ventures and licenses.

This opening represents the start of DoubleDragon's international operations, building on its domestic success in the Philippines. The property's scale and location support both leisure travelers exploring Madrid and business visitors attending events at nearby facilities.
