Guilt Trip releases surprise EP God Forgives

British crossover band Guilt Trip has unexpectedly released a new three-song EP titled God Forgives through Roadrunner Records. The EP features a remixed version of Burn alongside new tracks Dirt and Angel Eyes. A music video for Dirt and Angel Eyes accompanies the release.

Guilt Trip, the British crossover band, surprised fans on February 11, 2026, with the sudden release of their EP God Forgives via Roadrunner Records. The project includes three tracks: a new mix of the song Burn, plus the originals Dirt and Angel Eyes. Directed by Luigi Sibona, the music video for Dirt and Angel Eyes visually interprets the lyrics through metaphorical storytelling, aiming to entertain while allowing viewers to form their own interpretations.

Jay Valentine, a member of the band, described the EP as a culmination of progress that embodies Guilt Trip's identity. He noted that it builds on the style and songwriting from their previous record Severance, while embracing and advancing that sound. The songs were crafted with the goal of making them better, in hopes of satisfying fans.

Regarding the video, Valentine explained that it emerged from transitioning lyrical themes into visuals and original ideas that metaphorically represent the subject matter. The band sought to go beyond a standard live performance, creating a narrative that conveys a message openly.

More details about Guilt Trip's upcoming full-length album are expected soon. In the meantime, the band has a busy tour schedule ahead, including shows in Spain and Portugal in March 2026, Slam Dunk festivals in the UK in May, a North American run with Malevolence and Chamber in April, and appearances at festivals like Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium and Rock Fest in Wisconsin later in the year.
