Guns N’ Roses launched their 2026 world tour on March 28 at the Tecate Pa’l Norte festival in Monterrey, Mexico. The band debuted live performances of singles “Nothin’” and “Atlas” before an estimated crowd of 100,000 at Parque Fundidora. Keyboardist Melissa Reese is absent from the tour due to personal reasons.
Guns N’ Roses, featuring Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan, opened the show with “Welcome to the Jungle” and followed with classics including “Mr. Brownstone,” “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and “November Rain.” Axl Rose greeted fans with “It’s good to see you” and thanked the audience in Spanish, “Muchas gracias,” before covers like Paul McCartney and Wings’ “Live and Let Die” and Velvet Revolver’s “Slither.” The performance lasted more than 90 minutes and included a Black Sabbath “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath” as a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, whom Rose met last July at Sabbath’s final concert, “Back to the Beginning.” The set featured first-time live renditions of “Nothin’” and “Atlas,” tracks from Chinese Democracy sessions released in December 2025, following “Perhaps.” Visual displays on large screens showed robots with roses and guns, referencing the band’s name, along with elements from Appetite for Destruction—set for its 40th anniversary next year—and the Use Your Illusion albums. The current lineup includes guitarist Richard Fortus and drummer Isaac Carpenter. The band announced on social media on March 27 that keyboardist Melissa Reese would miss the tour due to personal reasons; she joined in 2016. The tour includes over 60 dates, heading to South America next, then North America starting July 23 at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina, and wrapping September 9 in Atlanta.
