Hangman Adam Page made his return to All Elite Wrestling on the July 11 episode of AEW Collision, ending a four-month absence. The former champion opened the show at the Berglund Center in Roanoke, Virginia, with a promo addressing his future in the company.
Page stated during the segment that he intends to honor his word from his March Texas Death match loss to MJF at Revolution. "I wanted to let you know that I intend to be the man of my word. I will never challenge for the AEW Men’s World Championship again," he said.
The wrestler discussed pursuing other titles instead, naming the TNT Championship, National Championship, Continental Championship, and International Championship as possibilities. He reflected on his time away, noting he spent much of it planting native plants and described the activity as therapeutic.
AEW President Tony Khan had announced the return the previous day, confirming Page would kick off the live broadcast from his home state. The episode also featured multiple championship matches, though the focus remained on Page's reappearance.
