In day 14 of the RTL show 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!', actor Hardy Krüger jr. was eliminated with the fewest viewer votes. Gil Ofarim, who recently fell during a challenge, completed an eating trial and then clashed with fellow campers. Additionally, Simone Ballack had to give up her necklace containing the ashes of her late son.
The 14th episode of the RTL reality show 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' from Murwillumbah, Australia, brought tension ahead of Sunday's finale. Hardy Krüger jr. (57) received the fewest viewer votes and had to leave the camp. Before departing, he advised his fellow campers: "Stay chill. And stop arguing." Now, six candidates remain, including Gil Ofarim (43).
Gil, who fell during a challenge on Tuesday and was taken to the hospital, received the all-clear and returned. Two days later, he teamed up with farmer Patrick Romer (30) for an eating challenge. In a bakery, they selected unusual dishes: A cow snout on a cinnamon roll, two scorpions on a cookie, a goat penis in pretzel form, and "Pipi Kacka from a crocodile," as host Sonja Zietlow described it. The pair secured five out of seven stars.
The joy of success was short-lived. Ariel (22), Samira Yavuz (32), and Simone Ballack (49) confronted Gil about his quick recovery. Simone said: "It's about your external image now. And that's where the fun ends for me." Ariel doubted: "Sorry, he's fooling everyone here." Earlier, Samira had warned: "Everyone is trying to squeeze out their last reserves. And then I wonder, how can you do that? You should lie down and recover." Gil remained composed.
Another conflict arose over luxury items. Due to rule violations, only two could be kept. Samira suggested Simone retain her necklace with the ashes of her son Emilio. But Hardy and Hubert Fella (58) prioritized their earplugs for sleeping. Simone surrendered the necklace, which Ariel called "a really weak performance."
Samira hoped for an all-women finale: "Ariel finale, you finale." Simone replied: "And then? Three women in the finale." Whether this happens will be revealed in the coming week.
