HBO has unveiled a new trailer for the third season of its hit series Euphoria, showcasing the late Eric Dane in one of his final TV appearances as Cal Jacobs. The promo also introduces Sharon Stone as a studio executive and teases intense plot developments including drug trafficking and a wedding. The season premieres on April 12.
HBO released the trailer for Euphoria season 3 on March 30, offering fans their first glimpse of Eric Dane's performance as Cal Jacobs before his death in February 2026 at age 53 from ALS. In the clip, Cal encounters Jules, played by Hunter Schafer, at a bar. She asks, 'Remember me?' and he replies, 'How could I forget?' Dane had completed his scenes prior to his passing, marking this as his final TV role in the series created by Sam Levinson, who returns as writer, director, and showrunner. The trailer introduces Sharon Stone as a Warner Bros. studio executive aiding Maude Apatow's Lexi in Hollywood. Stone's character tells Lexi, 'The network loved your storyline,' prompting an excited 'Really?!' from the young character. Returning cast includes Zendaya as Rue, Sydney Sweeney as Cassie, Jacob Elordi as Nate, Alexa Demie as Maddy, and others like Colman Domingo. Plot teases include Rue's involvement in drug trafficking for a Mexican cartel, leading to her arrest; Nate and Cassie's wedding; Maddy assisting Cassie with content production; Marshawn Lynch as a henchman; and Rue warning Laurie about a threat from Alamo. The season jumps several years ahead from season 2, which aired in February 2022, following the characters as young adults grappling with faith, redemption, and evil, per the official description. It debuts April 12 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
