The launch includes classic 5v5 gameplay, localised elements, in-game events, and an expanding esports pathway. Indian teams will receive two slots at the Honor of Kings World Cup 2026 during the Esports World Cup in Riyadh.
The mobile MOBA Honor of Kings debuted in India on March 11, 2026, bringing its core 5v5 competitive gameplay to players via app stores. To celebrate, the game features several limited-time in-game events. The Pre-Registration Event, which ran from March 1 to March 10, offered rewards such as the hero Daji and the Vulpine Gratitude skin upon logging in. The ongoing “Sign In for a Free Epic Skin” event, lasting until April 11, provides milestone rewards including heroes like Mai Shiranui, Ziya, Ukyo Tachibana, Haya, Charlotte, and Augran, culminating in the Epic Skin Feline Whisperer for Mai Shiranui on day 21.
Additionally, the “Game Paltega: Desi Legends United” event runs until March 24, where players complete tasks to earn Desi Legends Redemption Coins for rewards like the Honor of India avatar frame, exclusive stickers featuring influencers Scout, Mortal, and Kaash Plays, and dedicated voice packs. From March 13 to March 21, the “Draw Daily to Get Gift Cards” event allows daily logins for Draw Vouchers, with prizes including a grand prize of all purchasable skins and an INR 4,500 Amazon gift card, a top prize of a random unowned Flawless skin, and others like INR 500 Flipkart gift cards or random Legend skins.
On the esports front, Honor of Kings has allocated two dedicated slots for Indian teams at the Honor of Kings World Cup (KWC) as part of the Esports World Cup 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. To build the local scene, the KINGS’ Arise: India City Tour will host offline finals in Bengaluru on March 22, Mumbai on March 29, and Delhi on April 5, 2026, each with a prize pool of INR 100,000. The Honor of Kings Campus Series will introduce structured collegiate competitions across India. Furthermore, a new hero inspired by Indian culture is set to launch in June, integrating local elements into the game's design.
