Hundreds of Survivor fans flock to Dogfish Head brewery for season 50 challenge

Over 800 fans descended on Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, Delaware, for the state's Survivor 50 Challenge. The event was part of a nationwide scavenger hunt tied to the CBS show's upcoming 50th season. Participants snapped photos with a hidden immunity idol to enter a contest for finale tickets in Los Angeles.

The Survivor 50 Challenge, a scavenger hunt organized ahead of the iconic CBS reality show's 50th season, brought crowds to Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, Delaware, on February 15. Fans who had signed up for alerts received a clue about the location on February 14, leading to the event going live the following day. The challenge involved hiding one of the show's signature immunity idols in each state, and Delaware's was placed at the brewery.

More than 800 people showed up to take photos with the idol, qualifying them for a contest to attend the Season 50 finale in Los Angeles. Sierra Wright, a Delaware native and contestant from Survivor Season 47, was on hand to greet the enthusiasts.

To mark the occasion, Dogfish Head released a limited-edition beer called Coconut Etiquette, which sold out immediately according to a company news release. It is now available only on draft in the brewery's tasting room.

Survivor Season 50 is set to premiere on February 25 at 8 p.m. on CBS and Paramount+. The event highlights the enduring popularity of the long-running series as it approaches a milestone season.
