Former President Joko Widodo visited the Maliosewu UMKM center in Pringsewu, Lampung, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, and gave directions to Partai Solidaritas Indonesia cadres ahead of the 2029 elections.

Jokowi arrived at the site and was greeted by thousands of residents. He purchased sweet iced tea and grilled sausage at one of the stalls.

During the visit, Jokowi was accompanied by PSI Daily Chairman Ahmad Ali and Pringsewu Regent Riyanto Pamungkas. He also attended PSI Regional Coordination Meetings in several districts.

Jokowi stressed the need for the party machine to operate down to the village level. He said PSI's target for the 2029 elections is bigger than just entering the DPR.

Jokowi wore a shirt with the PSI logo and responded briefly when asked about it. He stated that all agendas in Lampung followed received invitations.

Cosa dice la gente

Initial reactions on X highlight public enthusiasm for crowds at the Pringsewu UMKM event and PSI's push for stronger 2029 performance, mixed with skepticism over Jokowi's involvement and motives with the party.
