Katie Alice Greer has revealed details of her upcoming second solo album, Perfect Woman Sound Machine, Vol. 1, which will be released on April 3 through GAK Records. The announcement coincides with the release of a new track, 'Unglued,' described by Greer as a song she wrote while envisioning 'Kim Gordon fronting a Cleveland proto-punk band.'

This album marks Greer's follow-up to her 2022 solo debut, Barbarism. 'Unglued' serves as the third single from the project, following earlier releases 'Expo '70' and 'Talk To Leslie.' The song comes with a music video drawing inspiration from Gena Rowlands' performance in John Cassavetes' 1977 film Opening Night. Among the album's tracks is a cover of Leonard Cohen's 'I'm Your Man.'

The full tracklist for Perfect Woman Sound Machine, Vol. 1 includes:
- 01 Expo '70
- 02 Unglued
- 03 West
- 04 Perfect Woman Sound Machine
- 05 Talk To Leslie
- 06 Nobody Knows How I Reach You (But I Do)
- 07 I’m Your Man
- 08 Come and Let Me Know

Greer's solo work comes after her time with the band Priests, which issued its final album, The Seduction of Kansas, in 2019 before entering an indefinite hiatus.
