Lollo gathers ideas to save Vidablick in Rättvik

Lollo Välitalo Vågbratt has received nearly 1200 proposals on how to develop Vidablick in Rättvik. The engagement followed a question in a local Facebook group.

Lollo Välitalo Vågbratt created a website to collect views on Vidablick. More than 200 people have contributed ideas including a music festival, hotel operations, an outdoor cinema and quiz nights.

The area is owned by a bankruptcy trustee and has been for sale since the company filed for bankruptcy in 2024. Välitalo Vågbratt expressed concern that it could fall into disrepair.

Rättvik municipality has no plans to purchase the facility. Community development committee chair Jonny Jones said previous plans faced resistance from nearby residents.
