A man in his sixties has been sentenced to three years in prison by Mora District Court for gross romance frauds and benefit fraud.
The man tricked victims out of millions of kronor through romance scams over several years. Some of the crimes are linked to Mora Municipality.
Mora District Court deemed the crimes gross and handed down the three-year sentence.
The ruling covers both the prolonged frauds and the extensive benefit fraud.
