Marcos reaffirmed government support for groups that promote peace, strengthen families, and serve communities. “As you gather in thanksgiving, may this milestone deepen your commitment to translating your beliefs into meaningful acts that uplift those in need, comfort the weary, and foster harmony wherever you serve,” he said.
He highlighted the INC’s century-long role as a guide grounded in faith, discipline, and shared responsibility, noting its global expansion. “In this spirit, I encourage every member of the INC to remain a steadfast partner in nation-building,” Marcos added.
The statement comes after the INC held rallies backing detained Sen. Rodante Marcoleta, who faces plunder charges. Malacañang warned the gatherings should not advance destabilization efforts.
