Marlon Wayans has reunited with his brothers to produce and star in a new Scary Movie film set for release on June 5. The project fulfills a promise he made to his late father to work together again after years apart.
The reboot marks the first entry in the parody series since 2013. Wayans, along with brothers Keenen and Shawn, wrote and produced the film under a new agreement with Miramax. The deal gives the family creative control similar to arrangements with other successful filmmakers at the studio.
