Marshanda has denied accusations that she caused her daughter Sienna Kasyafani to remove her hijab in a recent social media post. She stressed that Sienna's spiritual choices are personal and beyond her control. The firm statement was posted on Instagram.
Jakarta – Marshanda's daughter, Sienna Kasyafani, appeared without a hijab and with red-dyed hair in her latest social media post, sparking speculation that the decision was influenced by her mother, especially since they now live together. Responding to the accusations, Marshanda issued a detailed clarification on Instagram @marshanda99 on Friday, March 27, 2026. The 36-year-old former wife of Ben Kasyafani emphasized that life choices, including faith and worship, are deeply personal. “Bukan tempatnya saya mempengaruhi pilihan hidup Sienna,” she added. She views a parent's role as accompanying, not controlling, to allow Sienna to discover her true self. Marshanda regards this phase as a normal part of a teenager's self-discovery and shows acceptance. Her love for Sienna remains unconditional regardless of her choices.
