NC MP Ramzan meets Palestinian minister in Delhi, expresses solidarity

In New Delhi on Friday (January 30, 2026), National Conference (NC) Member of Parliament Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan met Dr. Varsen Aghabekian Shahin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine. According to an NC spokesman, during the interaction, MP Ramzan expressed deep concern over the disturbing and heart-wrenching visuals and reports emerging from Palestine. He condemned the violence and suffering of innocent civilians and voiced solidarity with the Palestinian people.

MP Ramzan emphasized that there is no military solution to the conflict. He called for a just, durable, and comprehensive peace, underscoring the need for dialogue, diplomacy, and meaningful negotiations. "History shows violence deepens divisions, while dialogue opens the path to reconciliation and peace," Mr. Ramzan told the Palestinian leader.

The NC spokesman noted that Dr. Aghabekian had briefed attendees on Thursday (January 29) about the current political developments, the ground situation, and the humanitarian conditions in Palestine.
