TNA star Nic Nemeth said on Busted Open Radio that AEW Dynamite should have ended with Shane Taylor defeating Jon Moxley for the Continental Championship.
This past Wednesday at AEW Dynamite: Summer Blockbuster in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jon Moxley retained his AEW Continental Championship against Shane Taylor. Moxley won the 2025 Continental Classic Tournament and defeated Kazuchika Okada at Worlds End to become champion, ending Okada's 647-day reign.
Following the match, members of Shane Taylor Promotions attacked Moxley and his Death Riders. Nemeth argued the result should have gone the other way to establish Taylor's group as a credible threat.
"I don't think it would hurt Jon Moxley to do what he usually does, have a slugfest bar fight, and get beat by Shane Taylor Promotions," Nemeth said. Dave LaGreca, the show's host, agreed that Taylor has the talent to put Moxley in his place.
