Nike launches cryogenically frozen CTR360 Cryoshot soccer cleat

Nike has introduced its CTR360 Cryoshot soccer cleat, designed with a frozen aesthetic to mark the brand's latest footwear release ahead of the World Cup.

The sneaker draws from Nike's Mercurial R9 cleat as a modern, cryogenically styled version. It features a rubberized caged outsole that gives the appearance of being preserved in ice, though it is not literally frozen. Collaborations include versions from Patta, NOCTA, Virgil Abloh Archives, and G-Dragon. The G-Dragon PEACEMINUSONE edition, priced at $210, includes a distressed leather upper, red Swoosh, and translucent caged outsole. The release coincides with global preparations for the World Cup, positioning the Cryoshot as a summer debut product available on the Nike website.
