Olivia Rodrigo open to Sabrina Carpenter collaboration

Olivia Rodrigo has said she remains open to a possible collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter. The comments came in a new interview five years after their publicized split over her song Drivers License.

In a Dazed cover story, Rodrigo addressed the idea directly. “Oh, gosh,” she said with a laugh. “I mean, I’m open … I’m open to all types of collaboration.” She also shared admiration for Carpenter in an earlier British Vogue interview. “I think she’s great,” Rodrigo said. “I’m so happy for all of her success too. I love the album she’s put out.” Rodrigo named other artists she hopes to work with, including PJ Harvey and Fiona Apple. She described their music as “so special and raw and unfiltered.” She also praised Lorde, calling Pure Heroine influential on her songwriting.
