Agrapinus Rumatora alias Nus Kei, Chairman of Golkar Maluku Tenggara DPD, was stabbed to death by unknown assailants at the exit of Karel Sadsuitubun Airport on Sunday, April 19, 2026, around 11:25 WIT. The victim had just arrived from Jakarta when suddenly attacked with a knife. Family rushed him to Karel Sadsuitubun Hospital around 12:00 WIT, but he could not be saved.
Maluku Tenggara Police Resort arrested two suspects, HR (28) and FU (36), within two hours of the incident.
