Rumors of political figure Rusdi Masse joining the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) have been positively received by PSI's Deputy Chairman for Legal Affairs, Nasrullah. Jakarta, January 24, 2026 – News of the potential joining of political figure Rusdi Masse to the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) has been warmly welcomed by PSI's Deputy Chairman for Legal Affairs, Nasrullah. Although still just rumors, Nasrullah expressed personal joy if it materializes.

"Personally, I welcome with pleasure if Mr. Rusdi Masse truly decides to join the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI). I see him as a figure with strong leadership experience and political influence, who can provide real contributions to the growth and strengthening of PSI moving forward," Nasrullah said on Saturday (24/1).

Nasrullah emphasized that Masse's experience and political networks could bolster PSI's internal structure and regional expansion. "The presence of a figure like Rusdi Masse, if realized, I believe will bring positive energy to PSI, both in strengthening the organizational structure and expanding the party's political reach at national and regional levels," he stated.

He also viewed this dynamic as a healthy political process. "I see this dynamic as part of a normal and healthy political process. PSI continues to grow and is increasingly trusted as an open, inclusive political home that provides space for figures who want to contribute seriously to building the party," he added.

Nasrullah is optimistic that with unity, PSI will become stronger. "I am optimistic that with the togetherness of all cadres and joining figures, PSI will become even more solid and able to play a greater role in national political dynamics moving forward," he said.
