RAYE reflects on limits pushed with new album

South London singer RAYE has spoken about the demanding schedule that accompanied the creation and promotion of her second album. She said the past three years of work pushed her to her personal limit. The record, This Music May Contain Hope, was released in March.

RAYE explained in a Billboard interview that she chose to prioritize the album over other aspects of life. “There just comes a time in your life where, like, you have to, or you choose to, prioritise something over another,” she said. She added that the combination of album work and touring left little room for balance until now.
