Developers at Rockstar Games have formed the Rockstar Game Workers Union to push for better conditions and justice for dismissed staff. The move comes as legal action over last year's firings continues.
The Rockstar Game Workers Union, a subsidiary of the Independent Workers' Union of Great Britain, announced its formation publicly on social media. The group stated it aims to secure justice for 31 fired workers and to pressure studios on issues like pay transparency, flexible working, and an end to crunch. Employees from sites in Edinburgh, London, Leeds, Lincoln, and Dundee have joined the effort.
