Samsung unveils 2026 QLED and Mini LED TVs with AI Soccer Mode

Samsung has launched four new TV models for 2026, including the QLED QN80H and QN70H, and Mini LED M80H and M70H, available in sizes from 43 to 100 inches starting at $350. These TVs feature a specialized AI Soccer Mode designed for a stadium-like viewing experience ahead of the World Cup. Prices range up to $5,500 for the largest models.

Samsung announced its 2026 lineup of QLED and Mini LED televisions on Tuesday, introducing the QN80H and QN70H QLED models alongside the M80H and M70H Mini LED variants. The QLED TVs incorporate mini LEDs with Quantum Dots for enhanced colors, while the Mini LED models serve as successors to the 2025 U8000 series. All models promise bright, accurate colors and cinematic contrast, with sizes spanning 43 to 100 inches. A 100-inch M90H is slated for later release this year. The TVs are rolling out now, with entry-level 43-inch M70H priced at $350 and the top-tier 100-inch QN80H at $5,500. Other examples include the 85-inch QN80H at $3,300, 75-inch QN70H at $1,500, and 85-inch M80H at $1,800. Central to the lineup is Samsung's AI Soccer Mode, available on all models except the M70H, which offers a basic Soccer Mode instead. Samsung describes the AI feature as recognizing soccer games on screen to optimize settings, creating a 'stadium-like experience' in the living room by clarifying ball movement and enhancing grass greens. Demos showed vivid enhancements similar to Vivid mode. Most models include the Samsung Vision AI Companion powered by Bixby, featuring AI Sound Controller to adjust dialogue or background audio. Gaming support comes via Motion Xcelerator 144Hz on the QN80H, QN70H, and M80H, with the M80H adding DLG 240Hz for smoother motion. Running Tizen OS, the TVs support gaming streaming, FAST TV Plus, expanded Live Translate languages on Samsung TV Plus or over-the-air broadcasts, and up to seven years of OS updates.
