Sandra Wollner’s ‘Everytime’ wins top prize at cannes un certain regard

Austrian filmmaker Sandra Wollner’s third feature Everytime has won the top Jury Prize in the Cannes Un Certain Regard section. The drama follows a family dealing with loss after a deadly incident involving the eldest daughter.

The film centers on a family trip to Tenerife a year after the tragedy. The mother, younger sister and the daughter’s boyfriend confront blame and forgiveness as past and present overlap during the holiday that never took place.
