Shawn Stussy steps forward with S/DOUBLE streetwear revival

Shawn Stussy, founder of the iconic streetwear brand Stüssy, is taking a more visible role in his revived label S/DOUBLE. The 71-year-old designer has launched the brand's seventh season, featuring his signature style now available in Australia.

S/DOUBLE, originally founded by Stussy eight years after he left his namesake company, was disbanded in 2016. It has returned quietly with a handwritten mural at the headquarters of Globe, the Australian skate and surf company run by brothers Peter and Stephen Hill. The collection first appeared on billboards and walls in Melbourne before becoming available online.
