Sheamus returns to training after head injury

WWE star Sheamus has resumed training at a gym following a head injury sustained during his ongoing absence from the ring. The former champion shared images of himself with a bandaged head while hitting pads.

Sheamus posted a photo and video from Swiftkick MMA & Boxing gym showing him back at work with a bandage on his head. He captioned the update “back on the 🐎 #lightwork🤕” after earlier posting images of a large bloody cut from a “gym fail.”

The Irish wrestler has been sidelined since November 2025 with a shoulder injury. His last match came on the November 17, 2025 episode of Raw, where he teamed with Rey Mysterio and John Cena.

Sheamus had been preparing for a possible return by training at the WWE Performance Center with NXT talents in early June. No official timetable for his full recovery has been released.

Medical attention was sought after the head wound, and the priority remains a safe return to action.
