The Maccabees have announced the complete line-up for their curated day at On The Beach 2026 festival on Brighton's seafront. Joining them on July 25 are Editors, Miles Kane, Anna Calvi, Ash, Badly Drawn Boy, and Lime Garden. Tickets remain available for this final day of the event.
On The Beach 2026, an annual festival on Brighton's iconic seafront, features artist-curated days this summer. Fatboy Slim hosts from July 17 to 19, Madness curates July 24, and Moby headlines July 26. The Maccabees lead July 25, with the event running from 1pm to 10:30pm. Confirmed acts include The Maccabees, Editors, Miles Kane, Anna Calvi, Ash, Badly Drawn Boy, and Lime Garden. Tickets for this day are still available. The band reflected on the milestone: “When we were first starting out in Brighton, we did not imagine that 20 years on we would be headlining Brighton Beach. It is a very special thing for us to do this show outdoors on Brighton Beach and we intend to make this the best Maccabees show ever. Even better than the one at Concorde 2 that got us banned because fans were hanging from the ceiling. You will do well to hang from the ceiling at Brighton Beach.” The Maccabees returned to live performances last year after a hiatus since 2017, with slots at All Points East and Glastonbury. They have scheduled UK shows in July, including Alexandra Palace Park in London and Eden Project in Cornwall, plus warm-ups in Edinburgh and Newcastle. Guitarist Felix White commented: “The year we’ve just had was so special to all of us, and so unexpected, that it has put some momentum in everyone collectively… and who wouldn’t want to do all that again?” White has hinted at possible new music in 2026, stressing the band's commitment to quality.
