Thousands flock to Trademark Market ahead of Lebaran

The Trademark Market exhibition, featuring hundreds of local UMKM brands, is back at Hotel Trans Luxury Bandung for two weeks. The event has been extended from four days to eight to handle the surge of 70,000 visitors from last year. Bank Mandiri supports it as the official banking partner to bolster the retail and UMKM sectors.

The Trademark Market, an exhibition eagerly awaited by fashion enthusiasts in Bandung, runs from March 5-8, 2026, for the first week, followed by March 12-15 for the second week. Organizers extended the duration to eight days because last year, in just four days, it drew 70,000 visitors, leading to significant crowding.

"This year, we are holding Trademark for two weeks. Because last year, visitors reached 70,000. If only held for 4 days, it was confusing due to how packed it was. So, we made it longer, 8 days," said Trademark Market CEO Saira Nisar at the opening on Friday (March 6, 2026).

The event capitalizes on the Ramadan period to meet Lebaran needs, with visitors not only from Bandung but also from outside the city returning home. Saira added that many families use this opportunity to shop for family members.

Visitors can find a variety of products, from fashion and modest wear, beauty and skincare, lifestyle and accessories, to food and beverages. Beyond hijab clothing, there are shoes, bags, children's and men's apparel. Several culinary tenants are available for iftar.

According to Nila Mayta Dwi Rihandjani, Regional CEO of Bank Mandiri Region VI West Java, last year the event attracted 70,000 visitors with 73,000 transactions. "This year, since it's held longer, the number of visitors could double, and transactions will double from last year," she said. Bank Mandiri is committed to supporting grassroots economic growth through strengthening UMKM and the retail sector, as well as expanding market reach for business actors.
