Toyota maintains Veloz Hybrid price until IIMS 2026

Toyota confirms the Veloz Hybrid price will remain at Rp299 million until its official launch at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026. This decision upholds the commitment to consumers who pre-booked, with orders nearing 4,000 units by the end of December 2025. Deliveries will begin gradually from February 2026.

Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) has announced that the Veloz Hybrid price will be maintained at Rp299 million for the V variant until the launch period at IIMS 2026. The announcement was made by TAM Vice President Director Henry Tanoto during a media gathering in Jakarta on January 26, 2026.

According to Henry, this step is a commitment to consumers who booked since late 2025. "The Rp299 million price we promised will be maintained until the launching period. The launch itself will be at IIMS, so until then the price remains kept," he stated.

By the end of December 2025, pre-bookings for the Veloz Hybrid reached nearly 4,000 units, with the V type being the most ordered, and the number continued to grow into January 2026. Toyota will also bring three electrified models to IIMS 2026, including the Veloz Hybrid and one Gazoo Racing (GR) model. "We will bring three electrified products and we will also start selling the Veloz Hybrid, and there's also one of our GR products," Henry said.

Unit deliveries will commence gradually from February 2026, though long waiting times pose a challenge. Henry apologized for this and pledged to expedite the process. "We understand there are customers waiting quite a while. Therefore, we will try our best to make delivery as soon as possible, gradually starting in February," he added.

This strategy aligns with Toyota's focus on hybrid technology to make eco-friendly vehicles more accessible in Indonesia. Henry emphasized that price is a key factor in hybrid adoption. Toyota has not set a specific sales target for the Veloz Hybrid this year, prioritizing optimal market reception.
