Polokwane Municipality Traffic Police assistant manager Reginald Ramporo confirmed that officers are stationed along key routes. "We are ready waiting for our congregants, the visitors of the province," Ramporo said. "As and when they will be getting back to Gauteng and various destination points of the choice we have deployed our officers along R71, R81, N1 as well, R37 we are very much ready to make sure that road safety is our priority."

The deployments aim to handle the expected heavy traffic and prevent accidents during the pilgrims' journeys home.
